One very underrated characteristic of many of our favorite athletes is how much they love to give back to the community. Many players not only donate their hard earned money to different charities and organizations, but they also give a lot of their time to these causes as well. Trey Lyles is no exception. Trey and his family took it amongst themselves to serve baskets filled with food for those in need to enjoy on Thanksgiving. They did this for both the Denver and Indianapolis communities, two cities that undoubtedly mean a lot to Trey.

Last week/weekend we were able to impact people lives for the Thanksgiving season in both Indianapolis and Denver, with the giving away of thanksgiving baskets filled with food for families in need! Being a servant to others and seeing the smiles on their faces is the most gratifying feeling! Thank you to everyone who helped make this years giveaway such a success!
Thanksgiving is a truly special time of the year for this reason. A lot of people, not just professional athletes, feel inclined to give back to the less fortunate so that they can enjoy a nice meal on Thanksgiving. By serving food and donating their time, I’m sure the Lyles’ family made a lot of people in Denver and Indianapolis very happy. By the looks of it, it made Lyles pretty happy as well.
