Juancho Hernangomez can be the Gary Harris of the forward spot for the Denver Nuggets

New, comments

In this episode of the Locked On Nuggets podcast, I begin a series on the current players on the Denver Nuggets roster, starting with Juancho Hernangomez. In this series, I’ll aim to analyze where the players are currently in their development, where they fit on the roster, and where they can improve. I’ll also talk about how I think they’ll fit into the rotation.

Juancho has been one of my favorite Nuggets players since his first summer league. I love his energy, attitude, shot, and off-ball instincts. When you play with Nikola Jokic, a high off-ball IQ is an absolute must. Gary Harris is an off-ball genius and Juancho appears to have many of those same qualities. Great spot up shooter, great cutter, and stays in his lane. I think lineups that feature both Juancho and Harris alongside Jokic will be very great offensive lineups this year.
