The NBA season is officially upon us. We are mere weeks away from the first regular season game, and this means that the Denver Nuggets are tweeting about our favorite topic again…Nuggets basketball! Don't get me wrong, it was nice seeing seeing our favorite players tweet about their vacations, football, and various other topics, but nothing compares to that moment when you scroll through your Twitter feed on media day and you see that the players are just as excited about the start of the season as you are.

It was too difficult to pick just one Inaugural Tweet of the Week, so here are my favorites:

This tweet from Malik Beasley is short but to the point. Enough said, Malik. We're right there with you.

Jamal Murray perfectly sums up the thoughts of every Nuggets fan in this tweet. Also, who else is curious about this team dinner? Where did they eat? How much did they spend? Who sat next to whom? These are all questions I would love the answers to…

This series of tweets isn't about the start of training camp or about Nuggets basketball, but it is about the rivalry between a Nuggets player and a Minnesota Timberwolves player over…hockey!

Trey Lyles went to a Colorado Avalanche game Sunday night when they were playing the Minnesota Wild and he wanted to place a little wager on the game against his former college teammate, Karl-Anthony Towns. As you can see, it looks like Towns is going to be sporting an Avalanche jersey on December 27th. It's yet to be determined if the Nuggets will win the season series against the Timberwolves, but this wager was a good start to the rivalry. Side note: It's cool to see Lyles is already a fan of other Colorado teams after only being a Nugget for a few months.
