NBA 2K18 reveals the All-Time Nuggets team

Who’s ready to play Dan Issel next to Danilo Gallinari?

NBA 2K18

NBA 2K18 might have to do some quick photoshop on all its covers to get Kyrie Irving out of the Cleveland crimson and into some Celtic green, but everything else is coming up roses for the game. The game’s marketers just released the rosters for all of their All-Time teams (collected here) combining the best players throughout the eras, and the Denver Nuggets look like this:

Fat Lever, David “Skywalker” Thompson, Alex English, Carmelo Anthony and Dan Issel is a really good starting 5. The total roster is 15 players (as it should be, though more than I accounted for in the top-12 All-Time Nuggets article from a few weeks ago) meaning Danilo Gallinari and Nene both made it in, as did Nick Van Exel and Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, with Chauncey Billups, Dikembe Mutombo, Kiki Vandeweghe, Antonio McDyess and Laphonso Ellis as the expected bench players. The bench is stocked with creators, with even Allen Iverson making the cut - though he only played 135 games in a Denver jersey. Still, if Embiid can make the All-Time squad for Philadelphia 76ers after just 31 games, it’s hard to argue against The Answer.

Do you think Marcus Camby, Andre Miller or Kenyon Martin should have made the list over AI, or is the 2K team the right way to go? Either way, seeing all those Nuggets All-Timers together in the game will be pretty sweet, even if we’re having trouble getting any glimpses in the trailers so far. Even when a Nugget does appear, it’s not in the “correct” uniform (sorry Atlanta).

That’s okay; Nuggets fans are used to scrapping for their bits of respect. Check out all the rosters below!
