The Denver Nuggets held their third pre-draft workout session today. The list of attendees were as follows:

The media portion of the workouts is very short, but in general there is a quick display of shooting prowess followed by an impromptu dunk contest followed by a round of interviews for each player. The highlight of today’s workout was Terrance Ferguson who is the one player projected to be drafted in the first round. Ferguson is also the most athletic of the bunch, making him the star of the aforementioned dunking display.

Of the remaining prospects, the two most intriguing were Isaiah Hicks and Laurynas Birutis. Hicks of course is coming off a championship season with the North Carolina Tarheels and today found himself facing a pair of rivals in Duke alums Matt Jones and Amile Jefferson. Birutis meanwhile is the first “draft and stash” type prospect the Nuggets have brought in. He’s long and lean with plenty of dunking ability of his own. Though currently not projected to get drafted, the Nuggets ability to scout European prospects always adds intrigue any time one of them is in for a workout.
