“We’re not happy with where we are, and I don’t say that in a negative sense.” Altitude 950 had an interview with Denver Nuggets GM Tim Connelly about the deadline and whether he was happy with the results. Click the link in the tweet for the interview, or click here if that doesn’t work. Connelly is clearly happy with having Mason Plumlee as his deadline acquisition, but the work continues.

“One guy can be so impactful. One guy can turn your franchise around... Every decision that we contemplate will be done thinking of Nikola.” Denver may believe it has that one guy in Nikola Jokic, but will keep looking for another impact player to help the team ascend in the Western Conference. That work will now take place in the offseason instead of at the deadline, but Connelly shares his thoughts on today in a quick 10 minute interview. Take a listen!
