Jamal Murray has had an up and down season. He came out of the gate slow, then had a scorching end to November before coming back down to earth again. Last night though the Denver Nuggets were without Gary Harris, Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari so scoring punch on the wings was severely lacking. Enter Murray, who to his credit sure did make up for the shot attempts. Unfortunately Murray was only able to muster thirteen points on his fifteen attempts. All is not lost though as one of his converted attempts was a wicked dunk the likes of which we haven’t seen out of the rookie yet this season (at least not in a game). The play was a perfect example of how Murray is an underrated ball handler with the ability to get to the hoop, and also how his athleticism is sneaky good. All in all not the best night for Denver’s young 2 guard but at least he came home with the highlight of the night, take a look!
