After the sudden, offseason departures of Chris Fleming, Ed Pinckney and Noel Gillespie the Denver Nuggets were left scrambling to re-assemble a coaching staff under head coach Michael Malone. Who will be left to coach the young Nuggets squad?
Well the Nuggets finalized their coaching staff this week, including afore mentioned new assistant Chris Finch, Stephan Graham, Jordi Fernandez and Travess Armenta as head video coordinator. It will be interesting to see where the Nuggets go with a new coaching staff this season. This training camp will be very closely watched to see how the Nuggets blend the new staff in with a roster that needs to be developed.
Also the Nuggets announced that they will be holding their training camp at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. While this is inconvenient for a certain CSG Podcast individual, it will be better for a Nuggets head coach who likes a larger court and more baskets than the Nuggets practice court can provide.
