Update: Emmanuel Mudiay says this is not his logo, which may mean that he never authorized it after the concept was produced or that it was created for some other purpose entirely. But either way it looks like it will not see the light of day as a Mudiay branding, which is probably for the best.

Original Article:

Emmanuel Mudiay is signed to Under Armour. Under Armour might potentially be trying to trademark a logo for the burgeoning star. And, yet, this is what they (maybe) decided to go with?

I mean, what’s the first thing you think when you see that? I’m gonna be kind of PC and go with some evil Game of Thrones banner, but much more (real world) sinister comparisons could (and have) been drawn.

I mean, heck the mother ship, aka sbnation.com, aka Tim Cato, wrote an entire article called "This trademarked Emmanuel Mudiay logo looks like an Enron swastika" so, you know, do with that what you will.

Either way, I’m curious to see where Mudiay is going with this whole Death-Star-logo-movement.

Thoughts?
