Tonight, the Detroit Pistons are honoring Colorado’s own Chauncey Billups. In his brief six and a half seasons with the Pistons (when compared to his 17 year NBA career), Billups led the Pistons to two finals appearances, including winning the Finals MVP in their 2004 Championship over the Los Angeles Lakers. With Detroit retiring his number 1 jersey tonight, Billups will rightly take his place among the greats of Piston history.

Oh, And the Denver Nuggets will play a basketball game against those same Pistons around the ceremony.
