Like Emmanuel Mudiay, Nikola Jokic struggled out of the gate against New Orleans and struggled in the first half of the home opener against the Trailblazers. Nikola is clearly having a hard time adjusting to playing power forward. Nikola had a fairly quiet first half but came out like a man on a mission in the opening minutes of the 2nd half.

After scoring a handful of buckets alongside Jusuf Nurkic, Malone finally allowed Joker to play minutes at center and the Nuggets opened up a big lead. Sadly, both Nurkic and Jokic were left on the bench in the final minutes of the game against the Blazers and they mounted a comeback. But at least Jokic was able to look like his old self for the first time so far in this young season. Check out the highlights below, featuring some great moves, soft touch, and a few big time defensive plays.
