The Denver Nuggets have an All Star!!! Alright, alright, it's only the D-League All Star Game. Nonetheless, according to Marc Stein of ESPN, Nuggets shooting guard Sean Kilpatrick will be a participant in All Star Weekend. Kilpatrick is currently playing out his second 10-day contract with the Nuggets and has looked solid in his limited minutes.
Those All-Stars: Keith Appling, Rakeem Christmas, Sean Kilpatrick, Jordan McRae , Jordan Mickey, Jarnell Stokes, Jeff Ayres and Erick Green
— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) January 29, 2016
While his play in the NBA so far has been short, his play in the D-League has been nothing short of astounding. He averaged 27.1 points per game to go along with 44.5% shooting from 3 point range. When he was called up in early January, Kilpatrick was ranked as the #2 prospect according to D-League Prospect Watch. February 1st will be the end of Kilpatrick's second 10-day contract and at that point Denver will have to decide if they want to keep him for the remainder of the season or if they will release him.
