The Denver Nuggets, coming off a gritty win over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night, head into San Antonio to face the Spurs on the second night of a back to back. Normally, playing an aging team when they played the night before, with that game being a road game, would make one confident – or at least expectant – of a win. A few things argue against that. First, the Spurs lost last night to the Rockets. look for them to come out intent on not losing back to back games. Second, the Spurs have not lost on their home court since the Jurassic period (and yes, Tim Duncan was that team’s anchor also). Finally, the Spurs are really, really freakin’ good.
