Two home games this week have led to two close fought victories. Tonight, the Nuggets face their toughest opponent of the three – well, the presumed toughest opponent. The Houston Rockets, 2nd seed and conference finalists from last season, enter the Pepsi Center having a disjointed, up and down season. After starting the season 0-3 (including an opening night home loss to the Nuggets), Houston reeled off 4 straight wins, including wins over the Thunder and the Clippers. In their last game, however, they inexplicably dropped a home game to the soon-to-be-relegated-to-the-Croatian-league Brooklyn Nets.

Not only are the Rockets coming off a very, very, extremely, overwhelmingly bad, putrid, awful, stinky-poo loss, tonight also marks the first return to the Pepsi Center for former fan favorite Ty Lawson.
