Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried a finalist for Team USA World Cup team

The World Cup of Basketball ... I must admit that I pay little to no attention to the event, but a big part of that has to do with no Denver Nuggets players being on Team USA the past, well, since Carmelo Anthony. Kenneth Faried might change that. He is one of 16 finalists that will appear in four exhibition games with the team.

With Kevin Love worrying about being traded and Blake Griffin dealing with injury concerns, Faried would be a perfect fit for Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski's running system. Faried has to be considered one of the best running power forwards in the game and it would be awesome to see him make the team and represent the Nuggets at the World Cup.
