Colorado Sports Guys had the distinct honor of having sports talk legends Les Shapiro (from the CJ & Les Show, 12pm to 3pm Monday - Friday 1023 ESPN) and Sandy Clough (From 104.3 The Fan ... moving Monday to 12 to 3 with Drew and Scott) . They Joined us at Jakes Food and Spirits for an extremely entertaining discussion of the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Rockies.

We start off the program talking about the Rockies, and their recent struggles and the epic comedy that is Dick Monfort. Then we move on to the Nuggets. Of note was a very interesting discussion about Brian Shaw and his recent comments to the media about the team. We also talk about where we see the team going from here and if there's any "transformative" players in the draft. Les also gives me crap about defending Carmelo Anthony. BAH!

We wrap up the show talking about our memories of the 1994 Nuggets. Both Clough and Shapiro have great insight, and Shapiro traveled with the team in 1994 and Sandy was still at KYBG (RIP). Great stuff from both men and it was a pleasure to have them on

There is a bit of audio distortion at the beginning. It corrects as the show progresses, but you may want to reduce to half-volume at the first part of the show.

As always, enjoy the show!
