One thing we should all be able to agree on, cereal is awesome! It doesn't matter if you eat Special-K, Raisin Bran, Apple Jacks, Lucky Charms, Frosted Flakes, or many other amazing brands – cereal is amazing! But what if you want to get a little more creative for fueling your body? Bacon, eggs, hash browns, and coffee? Can't go wrong there. Omelet? Delicious. Oatmeal? You must be heading for a workout if you're venturing into that territory. Kale shake? Now you might be losing your mind, like me! Try this in a blender: just under 1 cup of milk or soy milk, one big kale-leaf, a fist full of spinach, one banana, half a cucumber, a little brown sugar, and some protein powder if you prefer. That'll give you a nice boost to start your day. Maybe you just want some chocolate milk and some donuts … can't fault you there.

Sad news coming out of Phoenix as Channing Frye will miss the 2012-13 season with an enlarged heart. I hope he can come back, but more importantly – I just hope he can return to good health. Always liked Frye, even went so far as hoping the Nuggets would deal Kenyon Martin for him back when Isiah Thomas was running things for the Knicks.
