With the Nuggets playing well, Carmelo Anthony is opening up more and more to the media and doesn't seem to be in a hurry to leave Denver anytime soon.

Bearup latest to leave Nuggets - NBA - Yahoo! Sports
As first reported by Marc Spears, Bret Bearup - an adviser to Nuggets owner Stan Kroenke - "has been pushed out in a power struggle within the franchise" and only team president (and future owner) Josh Kroenke and GM Masai Ujiri "are authorized to discuss basketball issues on the franchise's behalf."

Not so fast, reports FanHouse's Sam Amick.  Per Amick, Bearup isn't going anywhere and may actually have received a raise.  Given that Paul Andrews recently resigned as president of Kroenke Sports and Entertainment, perhaps Bearup is filling that void?
