It’s hard to read where the value of Villanova point guard Ryan Arcidiacono is. Before the NCAA Tournament there wasn’t much said about him and he didn’t seem to have inherent NBA value before Villanova’s amazing rise through March Madness. I spoke with him for the first time today at Denver Nuggets workout.

Then Villanova won the championship, featuring smart passes and some great leadership from Arcidiacono (including the key pass that lead to the game winning shot in that won the Wildcats the tournament) and the NBA took notice. I can see the guard as a solid second round pick, and he does seem incredibly self possessed. Talking to Arcidiacono you get the feeling that he is comfortable, sellf-assured and seems to have the desire to lead a team. However, does he possess the requisite skill to excel in the NBA? That is the question.

Also included is my interview with Timothe Luwawu from yesterday. Hopefully this will give you a better chance to see it.
