According to Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post, Denver Nuggets rookie center Nikola Jokic has suffered a knee contusion and is questionable to play tonight against the Washington Wizards.

Jokic hurt his knee in the third quarter of last night’s game against the Boston Celtics. While knee contusions are often painful, they do not generally lead to long periods of recovery and generally are a simple matter of pain tolerance. With Denver playing tonight it seems unlikely Jokic will play. However, he did return to the game last night after suffering the contusion. It may be in the best interest of the team to let Nikola sit this one out and have him rest until Saturday when they face the Indiana Pacers. The video below, via An Nguyen of BSN Denver, shows when Jokic got hurt.
