Toronto Raptors insider Kevin Bryant tweeted out yesterday something that got completely buried. According Bryant former Nuggets back up point guard Julyan Stone had his deal voided because he failed the physical that the Raptors performed on him to complete his signing.

What this means for the Nuggets is up in the air. It was fairly clear that they didn't value Stone nearly as much as former Nuggets VP (and current Raptors GM) Masai Ujiri … and they let Stone sign with Toronto without much of a fight. So it looks likely that the point guard from UTEP will be on the market for a new team as of right now. It's a shame because you could see the potential in Stone, particularly on the defensive end. Hopefully he catches on with a new team soon.
