Despite indications in the weeks leading up to the trade deadline that the Nuggets would deal center Timofey Mozgov, according to reports it appears the Nuggets will stand pat.
As the trade deadline has boringly trudged along to it's conclusion at 1pm Mountain Time conclusion, Adrian Wojnarowski from Yahoo Sports reports:
Deal for Denver center Timofey Mozgov is unlikely before deadline, league sources tell Y! Sports.

In the weeks leading up to the deadline (today) all reports indicated the Nuggets were looking to deal Timofey Mozgov at the deadline for at the very least some draft compensation. Now it seems that the Nuggets will be inclined to lose Mozgov in free agency in the off season (if their current trajectory at the center position remains the same with Kosta Koufos and JaVale McGee).
Nuggets fans are still hoping for a small deal as the deadline approaches, but it's looking increasingly like the Nuggets will stand pat for the rest of the season. While anything can still happen, if the Nuggets stand pat at the deadline ... how would that sit with you Nuggets fans?
