LONDON, ENGLAND - JULY 29: Missy Franklin of the United States prepares for the start of the start of the first semifinal heat of the Women's 100m Backstroke on Day 2 of the London 2012 Olympic Games at the Aquatics Centre on July 29, 2012 in London, England. (Photo by Al Bello/Getty Images)

Just hanging out and watching some Olympics from Friday ... Missy Franklin won her third Gold Medal in the women's 200 meter backstroke. Not only did she set a new world record, but she earned the first medal in the event for the USA in 40 years. Pretty impressive for the 17 year-old from Colorado.

A lot of people are saying Gabby Douglas is the face of the Olympics for the U.S., but there is room for Franklin as well. LeBron James and Chris Paul were in the house to see Missy swim for Gold, even more impressive. These games have been fun to watch, as usual. Team USA hoops just got by Linas Kleiza (25 points) and Lithuania 99-94 ... too close for you?
