Here is some interesting footage of Danilo Gallinari qualifying for the European Championships against Turkey. One thing that does stand out to me (what little can be gleaned) is Gallo is definitely more … broad. There’s an interesting change in his game to go along with the large physique. He finished another game with a high rebound total (16 points and 11 rebounds). With not knowing where the Italian team is playing Gallinari, that is a high rebound total for a 3 spot.

You won't see Gallo-centric highlights in the video, but you will see how well he's moving considering he was supposedly "injured" just two weeks ago. First highlight featured a strong drive to the basket. It will be interesting to see the change in physique and how it translates to his NBA game.

Apparently, Steve Hess was in Italy in June, working out with Gallo. If he continues to be the starting small forward, then the extra strength should help out immensely on drives to the basket. The key will be to see how he will do against Metta World Peace next season.

In this footage, supposedly, you can see Nuggets recent Nuggets draft pick Izzet Turkyilmaz, although I’m not entirely sure I could pick him out of this video. On the Turkish team, obviously.
