“The Manimal” – aka Kenneth Faried – became the first Nugget since Carmelo Anthony in 2004 to make the NBA’s All-Rookie First Team. It’s well deserved and further cements Faried as one of the great draft steals (he was selected 22nd overall in 2011) in recent memory. Other notable All-Rookie First Team Nuggets include Nene Hilario (2003), Antonio McDyess (1996), LaPhonso Ellis (1993) and Dikembe Mutombo (1992).
