The Blazers are having a field day hitting three-point shots. After trailing by as many as 16 points, the Nuggets reeled the Blazers back in and closed to within six points. 53-59 Portland leads
Danilo Gallinari has 17. Kosta Koufos has 10. Keep feeding the ball to them and everything will be ok

Nene is soft on the defensive glass, soft on the offensive end, plays with no energy, and doesn’t deserve to be starting. If GK benches players for not performing he should start with NENE. And GK is part of the problem with his ridiculous rotations that have been haunting every team he has ever coached. It is his glaring achilles heel as a coach. Karl needs to take responsibility for some of our losses as do the players. Yeah, put nene in with 8 minutes left in a deep hole is going to help. GIVE ME A BREAK!!
Sadly we are stuck with Nene for the end of his career.

I did not expect a win tonight, but this last week
Have made me question Nuggets lack toughness; did they omit perimeter defense from their game plan tonight? Nene sucked tonight but I still see his value – get off the trade talk.
I do not see us hanging with the big boys anymore. Oh well. Guess I’m peeved cause the Nuggs cost me $20 this weekend
And for my most knee jerk opinion of the night, play Faried Hamilton over Brewer and AAA, respectively. What do we have to lose?

Ok everybody get they whining in. It took a back-back-back in Portland to finally see the Nuggets get blown out.
Everyone want to talk trades right now? Really? Just enjoy Sunday. Relax and the Nuggets are going to start a win streak on Monday against the Rockets.
I was encouraged be 2k and that Denver fought back to within 2. Just ran out of gas. Bottom line.

put the team in a position to trade with a bunch of assets, and not payin 8miI to roIe pIayers, unIess they are Cs.

Don’t understand why you don’t play Stone and Faired early. Isn’t that why we had such a deep team for this very reason?
Have been impressed with them..
Stone play ok D, but is super timid on offense.
Faired plays bad, and raw on offense. Both need time. Would have been feeding them to the wolves. Faried on Aldridge.. yup that would have been fun.

he’s been more responsive to puttin bigger guys to guard bigger teams, and actuaIIy runnin some pIays out of TOs onIy Iate in games. he’s effectiveIy used pt as a way to get aII the guys on the team to pIay hard.
onIy probIem is why he didnt try as much with a meIo Ied team, he didnt argue for caIIs and do aII these other things, kind of Iike he didnt reaIIy want to win with that team. but now that he has his kind of team he’s tryin very hard, so we’II see how far he goes.

And one other thing troubles me
Gallo’s streakiness. If he crushes it one half, he’s gone the next. He cruises through one game, and is invisible the next.

Ugh....
Not so disappointed that we lost the third game of a B2B2B, but there are troubling trends developing:
1) AAA – Looking absolutely lost and now has a BIG contract.
2) Nene – Still has not post offense to speak of, particularly against the better bigs in the West. Also has a BIG contract.
3) Faried – The Nuggs need energy players during this grueling 66 game schedule, and Manimal is instant energy. I don’t care if he makes a few mistakes – - the Nuggs desperately need energy players on the front line, particularly in back to backs. He continues to show an amazing knack for the ball in the minutes he does get. I don’t know if I can recall a first rounder not given a shot, particularly one as talented as Faried. Cmon Karl – - turn the Manimal Loose!

Nuggs really miss JR. His offense at the 2-guard spot is exacty what the Nuggs are missing. He scored 60 the other night in China. Would anyone not take JR over AAA right now??
