Having had the privilege of traveling to Africa with Denver Nuggets vice president of basketball operations Masai Ujiri to see the man in action on his home continent, it was a great thrill to see Ujiri featured this weekend on one of my favorite TV programs: CNN's "African Voices."

Those who have followed Ujiri's career closely know that he is the only African-born general manager of a professional sports teams in the United States ... that's pretty amazing. But even if you've followed Ujiri closely, you may not be aware of the impact he is having back in Nigeria and across Africa.
