With getting easy points in the paint against these teams with terrible interior defense. We had a lot of problems scoring in the paint against Portland because their interior defense is strong with G. Wallace and Aldridge maintaining the paint. It is a nice thing to see us get to the paint though, but we need to elevate to a higher level against teams with a better defense.

Wakeup call game for Nuggs though, they though they had it in the bag early in the 3rd and were settling for bad shots, plus they started making a few. They have to keep working from the paint to set up the outside shots.

Nah. I never really had a doubt about the outcome. I was bored during the third quarter, too. Catching up on e-mail, posting here, juggling my fantasy roster, etc.
Really happy, actually, with how Denver got serious at the end, played defense, took it inside, got to the line and won by 15 points.
