Lmao carmelo never said anything
Small Forward – Carmelo Anthony
There isn’t a lot to be said about Carmelo Anthony that hasn’t been said already. The newly married star is an offensive force, capable of lighting any team in the league up for 35+ points on any given night. He can’t be stopped – the damage can only be mitigated. In the past couple seasons he has improved to being an average defender and even a leader, some of the top criticisms he faced in the early going of his career.
As mentioned in the introduction, his status could be up in the air though. The Nuggets have resigned themselves to the fact they will not lose Anthony to free agency for nothing and have indicated they would rather trade him for multiple assets if he won’t sign the extension. Now it has come out he won’t sign the extension; will the Nuggets really trade their best player?
If Anthony does get traded, things could go downhill fast for the Nuggets, though they did sign Al Harrington this summer.
"Crazy"?
More like: “retarded”
We wouldn’t be in freak out mode if it wasn’t for fucking LeBron.
Chris Andersen could be in a porno with his 'stache. Too bad he still wouldn't know how to box out.
Honesty may be the best policy, but it's important to remember that apparently, by elimination, dishonesty is the second-best policy.

We deserve at least a B-
it’s funny they give Minny a B even though they overpaid Darko and gave away their best player for nothing, OKC really didn’t do anything to justify an A- (Why do ppl act like Durant is a saint for extending? Melo signed the same deal and so does almost every other good player does… besides that, all they did was get Cole Aldrich and Mo Pete)…also Portland fired a good GM (albeit replaced him with a good one IMO), but then way overpays Wes Mathews (a position they already have locked up for the future with Roy)…
overall I think Denver did better than Minnesotta and Portland, and arguably better than OKC (matters if you think Al was a good signing, which I do… over nothing, which isn’t bad either IMO)… I think the Jazz had a great off season tho… they pretty muched swapped Boozer for a taller, prob more skilled, younger player in Jefferson, replaced the overpaid Mathews with a good vet in Raja Bell and got a top 10 pick despite being in the playoffs (fucking Knicks!)….
Nugs would have had the best offseason in the division if they could have resigned melo
Otherwise they are tied with Portland and way ahead of either the Jazz, Thunder, and TWolves. The guy that rated them is obviously an idiot just like almost every other sports media personality I hear. Jazz shit the bed by losing Korver and Boozer only to be replaced by Al Jeff. Absolutely shit the bed. OKC would have had the worst offseason in the NBA if they didn’t extend Durant. They had all kinds of cap space and failed to sign a worthy big. No chance in hell they get anything over a D from me.
If you read that SB Nation article that references Melo not signing the extension and testing free agency:
IT’S CRAP!
The article references a tweet from a writer on HOOPSWORLD’s staff, that is it. No new information, nothing that’s any different than what it’s been the past month.
That article is part of the problem with propogating stories with no more than rumors and inuendos. I don’t know what Melo’s going to do, but niether does the SB Nation writer or the guy who wrote that article.
On the positive, with the Knicks re-hiring Isiah Thomas maybe that'll turn off Melo
Not exactly the message you want to give the 2011 FA prize… bringing back to the team the man who issued a bounty out on you.
Classy act Dolan, way to think ahead

Gotta figure Melo tipped them off that he wasn’t coming or they NEVER would have brought Thomas back in any role. With Chris Paul back-peddling frantically, I think we know one thing and only one thing: Melo will not be in NY anytime soon except as an opposing player.

I think it's safe to say
that Melo would have no interest in New York if Isiah “Let’s start a brawl” Thomas is anywhere near there.

I'd never rule anything out; but I would be disappointed if Melo signed with Isiah
The 2 biggest classes stooges are Dolan & Isiah… they deserve to flounder like the 2 clueless asses that they are… it’s just too bad a franchise like the Knicks have to suffer them.
I admit I am full of contempt towards Isiah Thomas; he may be a hall of fame player but as a man he is little more than a punk & coward. As a player in a fight he was the one to jump on a man’s back, never face a man face to face. As an executive he ran teams & a minor league down the drain. As a coach he sent his players out on a bounty than turned teflon man when punishment was handed out… oh and let’s not forget about the sexual harassment thing.
And yes, I’d love nothing more than to say it to his face… and not just because I’m bigger and a helluva lot meaner than he is. I’d even let him throw the first shot.. then it’d be my turn.

You forgot to mention how he threw his own daughter under the bus
But at this point, it’s hard to keep count

And, thank you to the posters for not posting any new threads about the CBSSPorts.com article
It was about Melo & the Knicks but of course there was not one word of new information; it was more re-hash garbage.
Whether Melo does or does not, until Melo is actually on record speaking anything else is pure crap or rumor-mongering by bitter ex Nugs employees.

The CBS Sports article that was interesting was the one about
Isaiah being hired by the Knicks as a consultant is a violation of the NBA rules. In that article they mention the various people trying for the Knicks GM jobs and selling themselves by saying they can bring Melo to NY. On the list of people mentioned for that job is Wark.
