After an amazingly convincing victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night, we were reminded of the scary reality that the Nuggets may still lose their best player – Carmelo Anthony – before the season is over. But maybe Dikembe Mutombo can rescue the Nuggets one more time and convince Melo to stay…

Speaking with Yahoo! Sports' Marc Spears, Carmelo Anthony coldly says:

“They want to sit down and talk, but my thing is it’s way beyond this year. It ain’t got nothing to do with the new GM [Masai Ujiri], Josh [Kroenke], the players. For me, I feel it’s a time for change.”
