I'll live with Dirk shooting turn around fade away 20 foot jump shots all day.

you know, as easy as it is to get down on the Nugs D,
they only have 15 points with only 3 minutes to play in the 1st quarter. this is a slow pace so far, hardly any running at all.
the difference is Dirk’s ridiculous shooting so far.
why in the HELL is kleiza in this game . . . he cannot guard howard.
please put in balkman karl.
now he misses a three shooting way too fast.
this is starting to piss me off.
The D isn’t playing all that poorly. I’m more concerned about the offense missing those threes right now. But it’s still early…

Looks like all the Nugs have to do to win this series is minimize Dirk and Howard.
Unfortunately, they haven’t shown any ability to do that so far.
But I agree with FrankD, the offense was the disappointing part in the 1st. Too much dribbling and forcing early shots. This team plays well when they pass . . . period.

worst quarter he’s played in a while. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m actually looking forward to what Carter can do to start the 2nd.

Defense is doing better. We’ve got a four point lead at half and the scary thing is we haven’t even begun to open things up with the 3-ball.
Hoping for a mid-3rd quarter run to put this game away. Nice to see JR facilitating early. And Nene has been the man and is probably going to be doubled in the second half. Hopefully then he can pass out to the perimeter for Billups or JR

Dirk is a great player
But he is definitely not graceful. It looks so weird when he’s halfway walkinging and running into the lane and stumbles into a weird fadeaway.

That's why the Dirk prototype that everyone was looking for (can you say Skeeta?) hasn't worked out.
A guy his size with that shooting touch is very rare.

1.) That was a sick play and pass by JR Swish,
2.) I’d love to have a “tough” game like Melo . . . dude’s a stud, and
3.) This is really a TEAM, I love it.
