I don’t mind that Denver doesn’t have a cupcake to play – I’m just relieved that they aren’t a cupcake for another team, a la the Lakers last year.

I know, but thats how the award always goes...
usually whoever has the highest ppg off the bench in the NBA wins the award.
Personally, I think being in 2nd place in blocks in half the minutes of the guy in 1st place OFF THE BENCH is unheard of, and should earn Andersen the award. Its hard for a big man to win the award for some reason.

Nuggs have 26 losses … Blazers have 27 … so they are still right there. We take care of business on the schedule and I think we take the division.

Its just hard for “Big Men” to get the award. They get no respect I tell ya, no respect. Rebounds/Blocks/Steals are undervalued in that award.

J.R.'s free throws
He needs to take a lesson from Billups and NOT bounce on his shots like he does. For anyone who has shot free throws you HAVE TO know to limit your motion for the best success. Guy should shoot like 90% from the FT line. Frustrating.
