Are you serious? 10:30 p.m. start time Rocky Mtn. time or is that Eastern time… which would put us at in the 8:30 TNT spot?

Should be a great first round series

This is exciting! Nuggets and Hornets always play each other pretty well. Should be a LOT of fun.

Can't wait for this.

Good scheduling, too. We should have a great series on our hands. Anyone have any previews on from/for the Nawlins Hornets?

All I know is that while I love Chris Paul’s game, I think he’s a whiny little bitch.

So

Are we going to see the good Nuggets, or the bad Nuggets? Those last 3 games, and I know as it turned out they just did what they had to do, were pretty putrid. They play like they have in the last 3, they’ll be swept. I don’t think that will happen, but it is definitely time to pull their heads out.

Seems like Balkman has fallen back out of the rotation, even though they seem to play much better when he is in it. AC has more infuriating, lazy turnovers than anyone I can remember with the Nugs since Earl fricken Boykins (one of my least favorite Nugs of all-time). And yes, I know he is their only legit backup point guard, but why play him so many minutes with Chauncey also on the floor?

Because Karl likes to go with the AC-CB backcourt for some reason

I agree that Balkman has fallen out of the rotation for some reason, because Karl likes to think that Kleiza will actually make a difference on the offensive/defensive end for some reason. True, his game has picked up lately, but he’s still an overall detriment.

Question is, if you don’t play AC, who runs the PG? Smith? We know he can pass decently well but he’s much better utilized as a SG than as a point. I’d rather have JR’s minutes go towards driving the paint and bombing the long 3, imo. Chauncey and AC can handle the distribution just fine.

I am not worried about those last three games, honestly. We had an incredible performance by JR against the Kings, a loss against the best team of the league on their floor on the second night of a back to back, and lost a meaningless game on an away court with a team that had everything to play for.

Don’t you think it’s overreacting a little to say that they were “putrid” when they clearly are more concerned with staying healthy for the playoffs?

PUTRID

In the subject and all caps would be more appropriate. It is just an overall problem I have with this team. And Karl talks about it. They don’t respect the game of basketball. What did the Lakers have to play for against Utah the other night? Nada. But they played basketball. Not some bastardization of the game like we have seen in the last 3.

If JR doesn’t play out of his mind against the Kings, maybe the worst team in basketball, they might lose to them on their home court in a game they absolutely had to win. I don’t care if they were resting players and the subs puked all over the place. But the starters have been the ones who have absolutely been putrid. What was Melo last night …. 3 for 18? If that isn’t putrid, I don’t know what is. And it isn’t all on him. When they decide they don’t need to play the game the way it should be played, they are all at fault. And what would have been wrong with at least playing team ball last night? If they lose by 10 to 15, the starters don’t play too many minutes, but at least the starters play the game right, I have no problem with last night. As it is, they are going into the playoffs having not played decent ball in over a week.

Not good seats…but it’ll be fun to be there anyway. Where are you at?

I'm in for Sunday as well.

We get a group together of about 168 folks …

Should be one heck of a start.

Like Bob in Boulder points out … I hope the Nuggets can “turn it back on” after taking some games off. A funny thing momentum is …

But like it was pointed out on the broadcast against the Kings … perhaps you don’t want to be too hot before the playoffs?

Probably going to get the mid-level seats, around halfcourt.

I want a good view of the whooping we’re going to be handing to the Hornets on Sunday.

STIFF LIST (as of 4/26 by Andrew Feinstein)

1. METTA WORLD PEACE

Metta resorted back to Ron Ron last Sunday by clubbing James Hardenwith an "inadvertent celebratory elbow", landing him a 7-game suspension. Apparently, changing his name didn't prevent NBA commissioner David Stern from overlooking Metta's past behavior problems.

2. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS

The 'Cats are on the verge of securing the worst winning percentage in NBA history. Given that the guy who runs the team - Michael Jordan - had previously drafted Kwame Brown and Adam Morrison, should this really be a shock?

3. OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
The team that was supposedly built to overcome the lockout-shortened season managed to lose 7 of its last 14 games, ceding the Western Conference's 1-seed to the Spurs in the process. Their reward might be a first round matchup with defending champion Dallas.

4. BILLY HUNTER AND DEREK FISHER
With report after report coming out about NBPA union head Hunter's shady, nepotistic dealings and questions arising about Fisher's own role in dealing with NBA owners behind Hunter's back during the lockout, this off-the-court scandal could prove to be more exciting than the playoffs themselves!

5. STEVE NASH AND THE PHOENIX SUNS
The Suns are on this list for squandering the last few great seasons from Nash. Nash is on this list for his stupidly stubborn loyalty to a franchise as awful as the Suns.
