The Denver Stiffs Show - M P J Dozier is a thing now

New, comment

Ryan and Brandon discuss Wednesday night’s win over the Charlotte Hornets and Denver’s place in the West

As soon as Jamal Murray went down with an injured ankle in front of the Charlotte Hornets bench on Wednesday night, Pepsi Center went into a hush with some frantic whispers. The Denver Nuggets being without their point guard could potentially be dire, on top of Denver’s other significant injuries. By the end of the game though, it was Denver’s two rookies who provided some relief.

Yes, Michael Porter Jr. had those expectations, but P.J. Dozier did not. The South Carolina product played his ninth career game on Wednesday night and filled in admirably off the bench. That was the story of Denver’s 100-86 win over Charlotte.

In this episode, Ryan Blackburn and Brandon Ewing discuss the game, Denver’s rotation going forward, and where the Nuggets currently stand within the Western Conference. Can they be a title contender? Do they need a trade or two to get there?
