The Denver Nuggets, after not having a pick in the 2019 NBA draft, traded into the second round to grab Oregon center Bol Bol. Bol was a potential first-round pick that, because of injuries, slid mightily on draft night. At media day, he was asked about how he was feeling in regards to his foot injury that shortened his lone college season to just nine games. Bol discussed how he was eager to be healthy and start developing his skills within the Nuggets’ organization.

Today, Bol told the media that he wasn’t cleared to play in the preseason and would undergo a checklist of recovery before he would return to the floor.
