Well, the Denver Nuggets are on the brink of not being frauds.

After taking a 3-2 series lead over the San Antonio Spurs, the Nuggets have one game left to win before they can advance to the second round of the playoffs for the first time since the 2008-09 season a decade prior. That team with Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups went on to lose to the eventual NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers and is one of the biggest “what if” teams in Nuggets history.

This version of the Nuggets is clearly different, and also much younger. In their first playoff experiences, I detail just how much Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Gary Harris have grown up. There were some initial scares with Derrick White and Bryn Forbes, but the Nuggets have recovered nicely, officially on the brink of something special.

I looked back at the last five games statistically and briefly look forward to Game 6. Apologies for the short podcast as I’m a bit sick.

Enjoy!
