Highlights: Jokic goes for 21, 17, and 5 in just three quarters against the Knicks

Big numbers for Big Honey despite playing less than thirty minutes

NBA: Denver Nuggets at New York Knicks Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Nikola Jokic didn’t exactly paint a masterpiece on the most storied canvas in basketball Friday night, but he was in full control at Madison Square Garden as the Nuggets picked up their sixth win in a row. Jokic was not required to close the game out and he sat for the entire fourth quarter as his teammates put the finishing touches on a 111-93 victory over the New York Knicks.

The low-minutes didn’t stop him from putting up decent numbers. Big Honey dropped 21 points, corralled 17 rebounds and dished out 5 assists in a quietly dominant performance.
