Watch: Jamal Murray scorches Suns for 46 points on nine made three-pointers

The Blue Arrow was red hot tonight

NBA: Denver Nuggets at Phoenix Suns Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Call it a slump or being inconsistent or whatever it is, but there can’t be any more doubt about Jamal Murray’s ability to shoot the basketball. One night removed from an impressive 31 point outing against San Antonio, Murray continued his stretch of lights out basketball for the Nuggets in what would end up being his second highest scoring game as an NBA player.

Tonight against the Phoenix Suns the Blue Arrow was feeling it. He opened the game’s scoring with a corner three and from there the floodgates opened. Murray drained three after three, finishing with a career-high nine made in 11 attempts (!) and 46 points in tow. Overall, Murray was 16-for-24 from the field but also contributed eight assists, six rebounds and one HUGE block on Deandre Ayton.

Murray is legit, and if/when he can shoot like this night in and night out, he will be even more of a problem around the league.
