Will the real Big Baller please stand up?
Nikola Jokic hasnt quite looked like himself in the first two games of the preseason. He only tallied 3 assists against the Lakers on Monday after putting up similar numbers against the Warriors two nights before. Part of the issue is that the Denver Nuggets are having to figure out how to involve Jokic and newcomer Paul Millsap into the role of co-facilitators and thus far, its been a bit clunky.
Still, mediocre Jokic games are still highlight worthy. In this one, Jokic throws a few nice passes, uses a nice reverse pivot spin move (my favorite post move), and knocks down three 3-pointers. Jokic’s deep ball has been falling in preseason. Perhaps a sign of things to come? Check out the highlights and decide for yourself.
