In a long-expected move, the Denver Post’s Chris Dempsey tweeted out the the Denver Nuggets have agreed to terms with Forward Darell Arthur on a new two year deal:

Arthur averaged 6.6 points and 2.9 rebounds on 44.2% shooting in 58 games last season. Often, under Brian Shaw the team had Arthur acting as a stretch 4 and he was encouraged to shoot three point shots. A series of injuries last season plagued him a bit, and he looks to have a healthier season.
The Nuggets, quite frankly, are packed at the forward spot with Arthur, Kenneth Faried, J.J. Hickson and Joffrey Lauvergne all play the natural power forward position. It will be interesting to see how the Nuggets handle such a log jam at that position.
However Arthur is very much a high character guy and well respected by everyone in the locker room. Known as a defensive specialist he can occasionally score when asked to. Yet, it's his high character that is very much valued. Here is a CSG video with Arthur done last season.
