Kenneth Faried Nails Game Winner on "Pass" From Gallinari

New, comments

Sometimes it pays to be good, and sometimes it pays to have good positioning, The Nuggets benefited from the latter.

The Denver Nuggets won against the Milwaukee Bucks last night in dramatic fashion.  With under ten seconds to go Danilo Gallinari found himself trapped beyond the three point line with nowhere to go.  A desperation heave led to an air ball but as luck would have it, Kenneth Faried was right there to grab the "rebound" and lay it in for the lead with five seconds to go.  Gallo jested in the post game that it was an intentional pass on a play called "Faried wins the game."  Sometimes being lucky is what you need to win the game.

Malone was asked about Gallo's "pass" at the end of the game and had this to say.

"I'd love to sit here and say that we drew it up for Gallo to jump in the air and throw the pass to Kenneth Faried but I'm not buying that from the Italian."
