On Sunday, Oct. 6th, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 97-88. They’ll do it again, but instead of playing in L.A., the two teams are up in Ontario, Canada for tonight’s tilt. Game time is at 8:00 p.m. MT and the game can been seen on NBA TV.

Brian Shaw did a whole lot of tinkering with the lineups in Denver’s first preseason game. He started Ty Lawson, Randy Foye, Quincy Miller, Kenneth Faried, and JaVale McGee. That seems like a pretty standard lineup for what we’ve been hearing since Shaw was hired – with Quincy obviously starting in place of the injured Wilson Chandler (strained hamstring).

But in the second half, Shaw came out with Lawson and McGee again, but went with Evan Fournier, Jordan Hamilton, and J.J. Hickson. That second half starting lineup played with better continuity and I thought it may have been because they were all familiar with each other, but that isn’t the case with Hickson.

Whatever the case, be on the lookout for Shaw's lineups tonight. Has Shaw found some combinations that he likes or will we see a hodgepodge of units again tonight?
