Nuggets help out Habitat for Humanity

New, comments

On Thursday the Denver Nuggets went down to a Habitat for Humanity site in Globeville to help build some affordable housing.

In a really cool event Thursday October 10th, your Denver Nuggets went to Globeville in North/central Denver and helped out Habitat for Humanity. For those who don't know, Habitat for Humanity is an organization that helps out low income families with affordable housing made famous by former President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn.

While on Facebook, I came across a video taken by Danilo Gallinari of the event. In his usual wry fashion Gallo narrates what's happening and gives people an idea of what's going on. The entire team came down, including General Manager Tim Connelly to help out. It's a really cool event and I'm sure the residents of Globeville appreciate the Nuggets taking the time to come down and lend a hand.

Featured in Gallo's video are Jordan Hamilton, Ty Lawson, Timofey Mozgov and members of the Nuggets staff. To learn more about Habitat for Humanity, click this link.

Gallo also posted several pictures from the even on his Facebook page.
