Now the Nuggets have no chance to win it all...

New, comments
This is old news by now on this blog, but on ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption" today, Charles Barkley predicted that the Nuggets will win the NBA Championship. Which - as several of this blog's readers have already pointed out - means the Nuggets have no chance to win it all now.

Denver Stiffs (like just about anyone else) is a HUGE Barkley fan. But this is the same Charles Barkley who said that only San Antonio or Utah could contend with the Lakers for Western Conference supremacy a few weeks ago. And this is the same Charles Barkley who picked San Antonio to win it all in 2007, and then when the finals began against the Cavaliers, Barkley picked the Cavaliers (who promptly got swept by the Spurs).

While we in Nuggets Nation appreciate Barkley's sudden enthusiasm for the Nuggets, we don't need him or anyone else picking the Nuggets to win it all. The Nuggets (and their coach) perform best when no one gives them a chance, and Denver Stiffs wishes it could just stay that way.
