It's been a great 7-1 ride since the dawning of the ACB (After Chauncey Billups) Era, but tonight will be a sobering dose of reality for our beloved Nuggets when they play the 2009 NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center. During the last eight games that these two teams played each other, not only have the Lakers won handily but the Nuggets have barely shown up.I surmise that things will be different tonight on the effort side, but still don't have a lot of confidence in the Nuggets ability to beat the Lakers (and the refs) at Staples Center.
Should the Nuggets pull this one off, however, it will be a strong statement heard around the league that the boys from Denver mean business. Let's Go Nuggets!
