Denver Nuggets: Game Previews & Game Threads

Suns vs. Nuggets: A whole lot of Brewer love (7pm MST)

Corey Brewer has been one of Denver's sweet surprises this season.

Valentines Day is a great time to show those you care about and love how much they mean to you. Tonight, I hope Corey Brewer gets the start (like he's penciled in to be), is announced last, and gets a huge ovation from the home crowd. Brewer recently lost his father and could use some love from his home crowd.

Second half thread: Nuggets at Pacers

George Karl is thanking his lucky stars that Corey Brewer is back

Tied 60-60 going in to halftime. Corey Brewer proves to be the spark the Nuggets need against the Pacers after being down by as many as 13.

Nuggets at Pacers: For your life (5pm MST)

Ugh...Darren Collison shoots a jumper. I remember this game, best to block it from your memory.

"In the pits you go no lower, the next stop is underground" - For Your Life, Led Zeppelin

Little did Robert Plant know that 36 years after he wrote that lyric for Led Zeppelin he would be describing a must win game for the Denver Nuggets when they play the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis tonight. It's time to lay the cards on the table and play like it's your last game on earth.

Thoughts about the second half should be placed delicately in here. Be careful.

Warriors vs. Nuggets: Will the Nuggets win a basketball game this week? (7pm MST)

The Nuggets need to trap Curry and the Warriors and win a damn game already!

Losers of four straight and six of their last seven games, the Nuggets desperately need to get back to winning basketball games. Drawing the 8-14 Golden State Warriors on Thursday night should help.

Mavericks vs. Nuggets: Second half thread

Photo

Dallas leads 64-53 at the half, the Nuggets showed a couple signs of life that they are still in fourth place out West and in the playoff hunt ... where is the energy this Denver team had just a little over a week ago?

Mavericks vs. Nuggets: First half thread

The winged creature Birdman Andersen gets the start tonight.

The Mavericks are in town looking for some revenge tonight against your Denver Nuggets. Leave all your first half comments right here ... with the Birdman Chris Andersen! Well, not with him, because he's starting ...

Mavericks vs. Nuggets: A home win is much needed (7pm MST)

Rudy Fernandez will need to find some answers tonight against Jason Terry and the Mavericks.

Don't look now, look now - your Denver Nuggets have lost three straight games and three straight home games, as well! Who would have thought that at this point in the season, with 12 home games, that Denver would have just one more home win than Minnesota, Golden State, and Sacramento? Things don't get easier as the Dallas Mavericks, who have had three full days off, are in town and looking for revenge after losing to the Nuggets 115-93 on Dec. 26th.

Will the Nuggets snap their three-game losing streak tonight against the Mavericks?

STIFF LIST (as of 2/7 by Andrew Feinstein)

1. THE NUGGETS AT HOME
How is it possible that a Nuggets team with this much talent can be 7-5 at home?! Things have gotten so bad that fans are clamoring for J.R. Smith to return.

2. CARMELO ANTHONY
Kobe Bryant plays through any and all ailments. Melo uses any and ailments as an excuse not to play.

3. KEVIN LOVE
Just when the T'Wolves are looking better, Love stomps on Luis Scola and lands himself a two-game suspension.

4. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS
The 'Cats have lost 11 straight and are now 3-21 ... in the Eastern Conference! This is what happens when you let an underwear salesman with a Hitler mustache run your team.

5. MIKE BROWN
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew (Google it!) got himself a one-game suspension for making contact with a referee.
