The NBA just released the full list of teams that will be participating in Las Vegas Summer League this summer and the Denver Nuggets are among the 23 NBA teams on the list. This doesn’t come as a surprise as the Nuggets have participated in LVSL for awhile, however, there are a few shakeups in the list of participants. The Knicks, who do not currently hold a 1st round draft pick in next months NBA draft, will not be participating this year. The Grizzlies, who have the 17th pick in next month’s draft, will take their place. Full list via nba.com:

Both the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers will once again participate and that means Brandon Ingram and Ben Simmons should both be in attendance. The only current lottery team that will not be at LVSL is the Orlando Magic, who host their own abbreviated summer league in Orlando. With the announced LSVL lineup, it is likely that in addition to Ingram and Simmons, the 9-day event will feature Buddy Hield, Jamal Murray, Dragan Bender, Kris Dunn, and plenty of other rookies.

It’s also fairly common for second year players to play, even if for just a game or two. Nuggets head coach Michael Malone has stated that he hopes Emmanuel Mudiay will participate this summer as part of his off-season workout plan. Jakkar Sampson and Axel Toupane are also current players that are candidates to get minutes at summer league. It’s possible that the Nuggets will add Nikola Radicevic to their summer league roster, giving Nuggets fans their first glimpse of the young Serbian guard/wing.

If the Nuggets hold onto all three of their first round draft picks and invite their two second round picks, the roster will fill up very quickly. This is a stark contrast to last year’s summer league roster where Mudiay and Nikola Jokic made their debuts alongside Gary Harris, Erick Green, and a host of players that were never in contention for a roster spot.

Tickets for summer league go on sale this Saturday on nbatickets.com. If you are thinking about making a summer trip to Las Vegas, I highly recommend it. The atmosphere at LVSL is very casual, the gym is small, and general admission seats put you right up front next to the action. It's also the comic-con of NBA events in that the entire event is flooded with the biggest die-hard fans. With the Nuggets set to have a fairly full and interesting summer league roster, it should be an exciting time.
