The NBA will announce the results for the Rookie of the Year award soon, and while the winner is obvious, what will be surprising is that Nikola Jokic should be among the top three players in the votes.

Jokic began the season on the bench, behind Joffrey Lauvergne and J.J. Hickson. By the end of the season, there was nobody that had a bigger impact on the court than the Serbian rookie. He closed out the second half of the season with per game averages of 10.8 points, 9 rebounds, and 3.3 assists, showing how productive he could be with starter's minutes.

He was one of the brightest spots is a season that ended on the final day of the regular season, and along with Jusuf Nurkic, forms a promising frontcourt for the Nuggets for the future.

If you missed some of Jokic's best plays, here are nearly 10 minutes of his best passes, dunks, shots, and brilliant play from the 2015-16 season, courtesy of 1677091 Productions. It will be a while until Nuggets fans get to see Big Honey play again, so bookmark this and visit these highlights when a beautiful spin in the post is just the thing you need to brighten your day.

If you missed The Players Tribune article about Jokic, you can read that here. After reading that article, I know Jokic already has a few nicknames – the Joker, Big Honey, Serbian Sensation – but I propose we add to that “Big Jockey,” because picturing a 7-foot tall Jokic as a horse jockey is the greatest.

You can read the Denver Stiffs Year in Review piece on Nikola Jokic here.

Here are the highlights.
