It was an exciting week in the NBA, to say the least. The Golden State Warriors set the record for most wins in a regular season with 73, Kobe Bryant had perhaps the best final performance in sports history when he dropped 60 points over the Utah Jazz, and the regular season came to a close with the NBA playoffs set to start today. Due to all of this hoopla, there were some great tweets being sent out by Denver Nuggets players, as they watched greatness unfold. Here are just some examples:

However, the Tweet of the Week goes to Will Barton, and it wasn’t about Kobe or the Warriors. Instead, it was a message he wrote to Nuggets fans on Thursday.

While Bryant was shocking fans with his final performance and the Warriors were making history, the Nuggets’ season was coming to an end with a 107-99 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. While it wasn’t nearly as captivating as those other two games happening simultaneously, it was an important night for the Nuggets, as they can now focus on getting better during the offseason.

I think it's safe to say that if the rest of the players have the hard-working attitude that Barton has, this young team is headed in the right direction.
