Here it is folks. Colorado Sports Guys podcast is back after a two week break. This week, we address the rumors surrounding the Nuggets in the Kevin Love sweepstakes, aka: The Love Boat.

I will leave it to the podcast to let you know what is being said. Needless to say there is skepticism all around.

We also talk about the Nuggets workout today and in the past with Gary Harris and Zach LaVine. We talk Joel Embiid's foot and how the draft will be absolutely CRAY CRAY next week.

It's a good one.

UPDATE from Nate Timmons:

At about the 14 minute mark we talk about the possibilities of a Kevin Love Extend and Trade deal. We agreed (without looking up the info) that Love could sign and extension, be traded, and be locked up for a few years by his new team. Well, according to Larry Coon's FAQ (thanks to Matt Moore for pointing this out) that cannot happen with Love for the following reason:

A player cannot be traded in an extend-and-trade after the season (for example, on draft day) in the last season of his contract, or in any season that might be the last season due to an option or ETO.

Love’s 2015-16 season is an Early Termination Option one, so he would not be eligible to be extended and traded to a new team. In theory, Love could opt-in to the final year of his deal with the Wolves and then be eligible to be extended and traded, but that would limit his extension to three seasons, per Coon’s FAQ, thus negating millions and millions of dollars that he’d be eligible for by opting out and signing a new, longer, deal.

As always, enjoy the show!
